Miserable Day, I had to euthanize 2 of my dogs today

Very sorry to hear you had to do this. I know it can't be easy at all as I am pretty much in the same boat with my dog.

My husky is almost 15 years old with arthritis, she is deaf and she can't control her bladder anymore to where she is no longer allowed in the house. I have been asking myself for over a year, just what quality of life does she have now compared to before and am I just being selfish because I don't want to let her go.

Tri, I am very sorry to hear about your two dogs. I had to euthanize my little guy a few years ago and can't imagine two in one day. Dog's are like children to most people and it is extremely hard to let them go.:(

Really sorry for your loss mate...
At least they are on the rainbow bridge now, with all their friends and family and waiting patiently to rejoin with you one day.
Stay strong.

It's so hard loosing part of you're family. I work as a veterinary technician and know first hand how heart breaking it can be...deepest sympathy to you!

Sorry for the loss, it is never easy to be the one let a close friend go.

Hey TCoach, sorry I missed this thread back in April...I had my cancer surgery that month so I was a little pre-occupied. I am a true animal lover and putting down my two English Bulldogs 5 and 4 years ago, was crushing. My bulldog Frankie was my buddy. I cried so hard when I put him down...One of the worst days of my life. I wish they had a much longer life span. I still haven't replaced either one of them due to our schedules. Are you planning on getting a couple more?
