Hey guys i was wondering if Ostarine is able to stop the catabolic effects of t3? As Test and other aas do?
Biological Activity of Ostarine(MK-2866):
Ostarine (GTx-024, MK-2866), a non-steroidal agent, is selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) with anabolic activity. This agent is designed to work like testosterone, thus promoting and/or maintaining libido, fertility, prostate growth, and muscle growth and strength. Mimicking testosterone's action, this agent may increase lean body mass, thereby ameliorating muscle wasting in the hypermetabolic state of cancer cachexia. Ostarine has demonstrated promising results in Phase I and II clinical trials. [1,2]
Simple enough if it stops you from wasting muscle in cancer patients I'm sure it will help keep gains while on t3... Ostarine was invented to be a steroid but GTX decided to call it a SARMS because steroids are frowned on...Steroids are looked at very poorly and GTX decided to put this SARMS in its own class for sales and marketing. Steroids have a bad name and less than 90% of the world know what a SARMS is, so calling it a SARMS keeps it off the radar for awhile![]()

the answer is NO.. it doesn't enlarge the prostate....so is this saying that it promotes prostate growth?
Thanks for all the replies!...at what dosage do you think it will be able to counteract these catabolic effects?
