Peru Vacation Pics!!

Just got back from Peru where my wife and I hiked the Inka Trail to Machu Pucchu. One of the most amazing things I've ever done, even with the altitude sickness lol! Turns out bodybuilding doesn't really prepare you for hiking at 12,000 ft

I remember my aunty went there a few years back and showed me pics exactly like the ones you have taken man, it looks great out there, would love to vist these countries some day!

The terracing is what blew my mind the most. You look down the valley and every mountain is terraced almost to the top as far as you can see! On mountainsides that are more than 45 degree inclines. Absolutely unbelievable that they farmed that land!! And they would bring in the most fertile soil from miles and miles away to fill the terraces...just ridiculous

it's easy to take amazing pictures down there. everywhere you look you wanna take a pic...ended up with over 1200 on our camera lol

It's in the 60's during the day, but if you're in the sun it's a lot warmer. Gets down to the mid thirties at the lowest at night. This was during their dry season, which is the cold season too. Perfect hiking weather really.

If you dont mind sharing, what was your total cost for the two of you(flight, accomodations, etc) and did you feel the time you spent was enough to adequately see all that you wanted?
My fiance and I are thinking about taking a trip there.
