treadclimber

my girl and i are shopping for a piece of cardio equipment to buy each other for our 2 yr. anniversary. at first i wanted an eliptical machine, but she needs to use it too and she doesnt like them. we thought about a treadmill; that way i can walk on an incline for my cardio and she can do whatever. we are kinda interested in the treadclimber because it seems to be a cross between an eliptical and a treadmill. anybody use or own a treadclimber? i really like it from a biomechanical standpoint, but the deck looks really small. if not a treadclimber, anybody have any good suggestions as far as treadmill brands for around $2 grand?

you talking about a stepmill??? They are the best as far as biomechanics are concerned--that low impact cardio is for old ladies with fake knees----I just got a treadmill for the house cause I am dieting again and need something for the morn-----2 grand seems reseasonable I got my treadmill from one of those US Fitness places that sell and repair gym equipment commercially---I got a $600 tredmill for $100 refurbished!!
