Also Ferguson vs Trujillo could be the dark horse fight of the night. Both those guys bring it and will be a scrap for sure.

Trujillo is a beast for sure. I don't think Ferguson can deal with him IMO.

WTF was the deal with Hendricks trying to get the double-leg, pushing Lawler up against the cage, and then putting his head between Lawler's legs? Looked more like they were positioning for a gay porn shoot than a cage fight....Had Hendricks spent more time using his stand up skills instead of trying to take Lawler down, he probably would have gotten the decision instead of Lawler and kept his title. Oh well, I see another rematch in the not too distant future... Kudos to Pettis for taking out Melendez with a submission. Anthony has definitely evolved into a well-rounded fighter instead of just a great striker with lethal kicks.

There's no way on this planet Lawler won the fight. Lawler had half of round one, and 30 seconds in round 5. Everything else is 100% Hendricks. The problem with wrestlers is they like to hang around with their heads between mens legs. Other than Hendricks stopping for a nutsack break every round, Lawler didn't win jack shit... Unbelievable. Even Herb Dean raised up Hendricks arm, what bullshit is this.

It's about time UFC judges started ignoring pointless and passive takedowns. A "fighter" can win a round based on ONE takedown, whilst missing another 4-5? Laying on top of your opponent doesn't quite count as "control" either. Gravity wins in that exchange. Fine Hendricks landed some feathered leg kicks and pitter-patter combinations, but the fact that Robbie's face was smooth as silk after 5 rounds means they can't even seriously be considered "significant strikes" either. The right guy won.

It's all about a rubberneck match now. Those guys have fought 10 rounds and though I agree Hendricks out pointed lawler you never want to leave the fight in the judges hands.

I had a fight party at my house and no one thought Lawler won. That being said, it was still a great fight.

As far as Pettis, he has got to be the slickest fighter out they. Unbelievably fast.

I was surprised at the decision. I thought Hendricks won the majority of that fight. Lawler was looking scary at the end, but thats about it. He did not seem to be able to open up. Hendricks said he got too fat in the off season, and that threw off his conditioning. Pettis and Melendez looked awesome.

Jonny knew he lost at the end. His milking of the clock showed he was tired for a lot of the fight and his wresting wasn't effective at all. At least Jonny wasn't making excuses, like he was even when he won last time. Lawler said it best. He started the fight strong and easily finished the strongest. I think the call was right.

I thought lawler won.... hendricks did notta w the TDs... altho i reallyyy luv how hendricks combod w the low kicks at end, it didnt do any damage or make Robbie change his game in anyway... robbie landed two nice headkicks... for sum reason i just didnt see any of johnnys normal power in his overhand and didnt go for his left uppercut much either.... he never hurt robbie once... end of rnd4 lawler was pounding his ass for 20secs at end in dominate position.... end of 5th he was closeeee to finishing fight, again ending in dominant position....and we saw who tried to end the fight late in 5th amd it wasnt johnny... i had lawler w it end...
