While taking PCT (clomid 50mg) after a dbol only cycle
(50mg ed), I understand not the greatest of cycles and im not looking for criticism about it but rather some own knowledge. Ive read many posts saying how bad a dbol only cycle is but personally I havent had problems before. Shouldn't squatting and deadlifting be a great natural test boost even after my levels are lowered? I have been noticing the loss in strength but will it only take time to recover? I've recovered well from previous cycles and I constantly do research and am always looking for new opinions and personal advice. I have been lifting for 5 years now while eating as clean as possible. Im not asking for a better cycle to run cause I have been around many forums weeding through the information. Kinda just a side question about reactivating more test if possible.

Now that you're in PCT is the time to kill squats and deadlifts. Challenge yourself to see if you cant keep close to the same numbers as when you were on, dont get discouraged when you cant but you would be surprised how much strength you can retain.


I feel like I go harder on pct than I do on cycle. The only problem there is the gains are half of what you get on cycle.. But still keep challenging yourself.

You can't make gains on pct. Your test levels are in the shitter and your body is in a very catabolic state. Also, to go harder during pct is a huge mistake. The best thing to do during pct is drop the volume and intensity or else you end up overtraining and losing muscle.

If that's your approach then do what works best for you. If I slow down during pct thats when I lose strength and size.

You know I've often thought this way my self. So how does a person maximize or retain max gains during pct as far as training goes.

Cut down the volume. Take extra days to rest if you need too. Keep the reps the same though as on cycle. Make sure you are eating enough as well and get plenty of sleep. The last thing you want to do while your body's test levels are down is to overtrain by doing the same amount of volume as you did on cycle as you can lose muscle doing so and the chances of injury increase as well.
 
The effect on your test levels would be minimal, but can't hurt if you don't go overboard. You're just going to have to wait for your test to restart.
