CREDAI or Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India is an organization of real estate builders and developers in India. It includes builders of flats in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
The organization on behalf of all the real estate developers throughout India has a liaison with the government authorities and bodies to maintain certain coherent set of policies which can be developed and followed. One of these policies includes elimination of the ULC act. The IT and IT based services follow certain policies put forward by the organization. These are implemented in the form of property tax concessions etc.
In order to estimate the demand and supply trends in various cities the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India has undertaken and initiated numerous real estate projects on market research. CREDAI also intends to set up an alliance with Crisil, the credit rating agency in order to give compulsory rating to the affiliated members and their projects. CREDAI has helped to promote and develop real estate and housing and thus acts as an industry leader.
The initiatives of CREDAI include efforts to use the resources well and help in developing the real estate sector of India. This ultimately leads to the growth of the economy as a whole. The real estate developers make attempts to take into consideration the western and international trends and understand the customer mindset and provide the best method. CREDAI works towards initiating methods to develop the real estate segment of India considering all these factors.
