Yeah, no wall and its really obvious that his arms were not fully extended. I think they need to start hanging down and fully extended at the elbow when you start. There´s some doubt over it being a world record, watch this video and the comments:
Nevertheless, still impressive how easy he made it look.
Who knows if he can extend beyond that some guys have terrible bicep flexibilityYeah, no wall and its really obvious that his arms were not fully extended. I think they need to start hanging down and fully extended at the elbow when you start.
Any arm will straighten out with that much weight pulling it down.Who knows if he can extend beyond that some guys have terrible bicep flexibility
You clearly haven’t seen the arms of many pro arm wrestlers. The reason they can do the kings move successfully is because there arm literally will not straighten completely outAny arm will straighten out with that much weight pulling it down.
Even if that were the case, I think one could argue that the record shouldnt stand because of the limit in range of motion. The man was also not standing up against the wall. You clearly haven’t seen the arms of many pro arm wrestlers. I’ve seen Over The Top! Isn’t the Kings Move where Stallone turns his hat around backwards like a “switch”You clearly haven’t seen the arms of many pro arm wrestlers. The reason they can do the kings move successfully is because there arm literally will not straighten completely out
You basically get down low under the table and lock your elbow out and tire the other guy outI’ve seen Over The Top! Isn’t the Kings Move where Stallone turns his hat around backwards like a “switch”

oh yeah, I agree. He has a very strong curl. Just dont know if that counts as a record or not. Im interested to know if it was counted by the sanctioning body or not. Im mainly concerned with how the other guys start out with their arms locked out straight and his arms werent close to that. Regardless, its quite a feat!As soon as he steps away you see there's a flat surface he was up against but it wasn't a wall. It looks like the width of a bench, roughly. It did keep him from arching his back.
I don't know enough about the rules of the governing federation to argue the legitimacy of the lift but that's still one strong dude! He curled 250lbs like it was nothing!! He gets my respect regardless of whether or not it fits the criteria of a "good" lift!
