Well guys I thought I for sure took my class..but ended up in 2nd. Im still very happy though. I got swine flu 3 weeks out...stuck it out and still made it to the stage (Waaaay smaller than i would have been lol) and got my nationals qual which was my goal for 09. I got to meet Shelbys guy Brent who looked insane and was a super rad dude. All in all it was a great experience. Heres a couple shots my friend took

Thanks for all the kind words guys! Swine flu was brutal...luckily I got on Tamiflu the same day it hit and that seemed to shorten it a bit. The fever part was pretty crazy...I had never had one that high in my life to my knowledge. It made getting lean easy tho...just lay there and melt lol

Been doing good. Still trying to lean out and cut some weight. I'm right at about 270 at the moment. I just like to drink to much. Everything is still the same here on oz. The gym still stinks and hollywood is still busy. LOL!

I mean no offense but may I ask why you feel that way? I dont know you or the guy that beat you but after looking at the pictures I thought the guy that won had quite a bit more size than you and equal or slightly better conditioning. Not trying to take anything away from your accomplishment whatsover I am just curious why you feel you should have won.

Also, do you think the tattoo's take away from your visual appeal on stage. I know they are not supposed to be taken into consideration by the judges but I cant help but think they hurt the placings of some competitors if they are distracting.

Well...I feel that way because he wasnt in shape at all..your looking at pictures..you wernt there. My glutes were striated top to bottom and at the pre judge I was totally dry. He was smooth as can be...not a striation anywere. Back fat and lower ab fat. His condition was my condition 4 weeks out...thats why. Not to mention the fact the place went dead silent when they gave him 1st...and I had probably 30 poeple tell me I got fucked. There you have it..now I wasnt dissing your boy till you had come on here talkin shit. So now a question for you...why do come in my thread acting like an ass?

You should read my thread again. He is not my boy. I dont know either of you. You are right I wasnt at the prejudging and I was only looking at pictures from the show. I know your morning look and night look can be completely different. Hence, I asked why you felt you should have won. My first line also said I meant no disrespect. I truly wanted to know why you felt like you did. If that strikes a nerve with you then I dont know what to say. I simply asked you a valid question in what I thought was a very respectable manner towards you.

It struck a nerve with me cause ive never had to work so hard just to make it to the stage...and my goal is always to be the most conditioned one in my class..and I was. He said backstage that he doesnt diet or train hard and he was just "there" Meanwhile I absolutely killed myself and they give it to a guy who wasnt in shape. Im sorry bro...thats me I have a temper and get a little heated from time to time. But when im wrong...im wrong...my bad

It's all good man. Bottom line is this is a very subjective sport and I have been on the wrong end of the judging myself a time or two. I know I cant make an accurate call on the placings from 4 night show pics. I didnt know if the other guys posing sucked or if the conditioning had changed since prejuding. I thought maybe you had also spoke with the judges. Sometime they will tell you, you would have won but your color was off. I should have stated this better myself in my opening remarks.

Na dude totally my fault. I misread it and just totally overreacted. Your so right...its a very subjective and very political sport..and we choose to play it so thats on us! The judging was crazy at the show tho man. Since it was huge and a pro show Ive never seen such rushed judging ever. They never even compared me and him...or put either of us in the middle..we were on opposite ends! They ran us thru 1 round of posing... didnt even let us get all the way in some poses before calling the next one. I was then expecting them to move me and him together but that was it lol. Afterwards everyone I talked to said it was so obvious that I won that there was no need. They said hands down no question that I took it. This was being told to me by Judges that I know who were just in audience. Thats why I was surprised when i got 2nd.
