Hi guys, just an update. 8 Weeks out now, weight is 179lbs3/4. These were quick pics taken this morning before my cardio session. Carbs are low, protien has been tweeked, as well as cardio. A few legs shots this morning after working out legs ysterday....

I think you look good for 8 weeks out!

the fat in your lower abs should get away now the following weeks, since rest of your body is pretty lean:)
 
Awesome job Beast....your making obvious improvements weekly and it shows. No matter what happens (placings) i hope your extremely proud of yourself for what you've accomplished so far. Your an inspiration my friend.
 
cheers for the replies guys.! And thanx mainevent, its weird, because when i started my prep, it was your article which fasinated me the most so you inspired me lol. And yh, im pleased with what ive accomplished so far, however im in it to win. Im training and dieting to win, im giving it that extra push to be better then every one in my class, hopefully it will pay off. 8 weeks is still abit of time, but i wanna be standing here absolutely conditioned a couple of weeks out, so i can harden up going into the show, i think some people leave it too late and make drastic changes, like go completely no carb loadsa cardio which makes them come in looking flat and stringy. Im pacing myself, carving of fat week by week, day by day, its hard, its mentally and physically challenging. But thats what you get when you want to compete, im not going to complain about feeling tired, bla bla bla. My attitude is to work my ass off, and not feel sorry for myself. lol. Im happy atm becuase i know im trying my best, so we'll see what happens in the up coming weeks. :D . If your not in it to win it, you'll end up doing things half heartedly....i think....
 
Beast, you can see the changes in one week. In one respect I almost want to tell you to ease up on the diet a bit, I said a bit!!! You still have 8 weeks. You can not afford to lose any more muscle at this stage or you will look too stringy. But having said that how much BW are you dropping each week?? I ask cause you do not have much more fat left. I think you want to aim for about 1lb now. 2 is too much. It will start to cut into your lean mass. To do this just add some more carbs and protein in your diet for 2 weeks. Re-evaluate at six weeks and see where you are. You are def on target so it will not upset things to add a little. You know your body pretty well by now. This is not changing things but looking to spare muscle while still ridding your body of the last BF.
 
cheers oldfella. My body seems to be reacting very good atm, seems to be wanting to shift fat, so ima keep it rollin. Ive bumped my protien up abit, and little tricks like bcaa's have been added through out the whole day to minimize muscle loss. Im dropping around 1.5lbs-2lbs a week. Your advice has been taken into consideration , atm im carb cylcing quite often, so im not too low carb for long. im weighin around 179lbs. Ill probably be around 170lbs on stage...ill see how things pan out, thanx for the feedback,!:D
