IslandGirl said:Hey there SH! It's great to have you here at ProM!!!
I was at both of your shows and you looked awesome! Esp., at the Pueblo show where you dialed in perfectly! We have a couple of other judges on here (ParadiseCup and Crimson Ghost) who were also at your shows.
What are you planning to do next?
This is me...http://www.professionalmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18204
I just did the ColoradoSt.
Great to have you here.
Massive G said:Hammer is that you from Bolex??...Long time no see...man you look great..those wheels are insane!!
StudHammer said:Thanks! I was hoping to dial it in better for the Pro/Am, but I always do something that affects my conditioning that last week. I'm looking at definitely doing the Rocky Mtn next year, so about a year and a half will hopefully bump me up to the superheavies.
Glad to see other real judges here that people can ask opinions of and get good feedback.
IslandGirl said:Aren't you already qualified?
Crimson Ghost said:Hey dude! Glad to see you here! I spoke to you after the Steel City and said that I thought you should do the Pro/Am. Not sure if you remember me or not.
Everyone: Photos do NOT do this guy's quads justice. There are so dry, feathered and veiny...they really set him apart from the other guys on stage.
You look leaner/ drier in these pics than you did at the pro/Am. I thought you looked better at the Steel City.
Another question: What music did you pose to at the Pro/Am?
Crimson Ghost said:I wasn't the guy that gave you his business card. I'm younger and my wife is a judge too. I've got short, dark brown hair.
You def need to keep competing!!
StudHammer said:After you guys were telling me keep competing I thought maybe I could go further in this sport. I'm my own worst critic so hearing reassuring comments made me feel a lot better about where I stand. I just need to figure out what I'm doing wrong that last week that's messing up my shape/conditioning. I lose so much vascularity and size that I'm ready to stop the dehydrating to keep fuller, but I don't know if that would be shooting myself in the foot or not. Hmm, time will tell I guess.

IslandGirl said:Yes, I think you have the potential to take this sport far. It is usually trial and error when it comes to the last week, but having some knowledgable to help you through that week is a bonus. You should hook up with ParadiseCup! He knows his stuff!
StudHammer said:I've been sharing some of my info with PC via PM and he's already provided me with some ideas as well as Crimson Ghost.
Now, this may sound like a dumb question, but how do I find out what shows qualify me for the Nationals? The 2 shows I did this year were my first ones since 2000, and I wasn't sure if the Steel City was just a regional thing or not. And how long is one Nationally qualified for? I need to find an NPC rulebook that explains all this stuff.
I may try to come down to watch the Rocky Mtn this year so I'll have to come chat with you guys sometime during that day.
first off bro nice physiqe! very well put together and balanced! and about NQ's if you go to the npc website or get the npc magazine, look at the show list for the year and it will usually note which shows are national qualifiers with a star or something.StudHammer said:Now, this may sound like a dumb question, but how do I find out what shows qualify me for the Nationals?
