A little teary eyed...

Watched John Q with Denzel Washington yesterday and when the son came into the scene yelling "Ronnie Coleman, Mr. Olympia for the third year in a row", or somethign like that I had to smile. The little guy hit a most muscular pose. They just recongnized bodybuilding in a very good movie. Later on when he dropped his son off at school the little guy walked towards the school, turned around and sd, "Flex Wheeler" and hit a double bi shot and then a most muscular. It was awsome. Then later on in the movie when he is deathly ill the little guy laying in the hospital bed sd something about Chris Cormier being great.

It just touched me a little to hear this coming from a 6-7 year old boy in a movie. His room, in the film, had all the current pros on the wall. Maybe the test is gettin to me. I love this sport!

I wonder what the deal was with that. Is the writer a body building fan? There has to be a reason for the tie-in. I laughed when the kid said something about "Flex Wheeler, 275 pounds, 3 % body fat"! Hard to picture Flex that big.

That was the best part of the movie when he was doing the Flex Wheeler impression.

I watched that with some friends and everyone looked at me and snickerd. Fuck, it was all I could do was to stop from laughing.

Hell yeah man! It's great to see our beloved sport represented properly on screen... there's a movie coming out soon specifically about bodybuilding. It's sort of a Rocky theme, but with bodybuilders. I forget who's staring and I forget the name of the flick. Anyone know?
