A rare sight here!

These are called Black Cockatoos. They are an incredibly beautiful bird but as well as rare extremely bashful. These were sitting out in front of my gym this morning!! There were 5 of these and a total value of about $100,000 worth of birds on the o/seas market. Might explain why they are becoming rare huh??

wow thats a gorgeous bird. I love seeing rare birds! I've been to the galapagos where i saw the most amazing birds, blue and red footed boobies, frigids, and some other crazy birds but this one is way up there aswell. Wow beutiful looking bird. thanks for the post bro.

Yes Cassowaries. They do not actually hunt humans but if cornered or you get to close to the nest they can actually take down a fully grown man with the crown at the top of their heads and then gut you like a pig with incredibly sharp talons!!! Not a bird to be messed with!!!

Ya know Boom , it's funny. All these critters are literally on my doorstep. Caught and released another snake trying to come into the gym. A baby carpet python. it was incredibly beautiful so I just took it out behind the gym in the creek alondside and released him. Hopefully he will come back and visit when he is about 8 feet long. But all of these animals live here along side us. I have a live and let live policy, even with dangerous animals and snakes. If I can sucessfully capture and release somewhere safe I will. If not I will call the parks and wildlife people to come and take them to a national park. Pretty cool place I live in I must admit!! Shame I didn't have the camera for the little python though, it was a beauty!!
