I gave competing a shot this year. Always meant to do it, always put it off...one of those guy's lol.
My Wife, God bless her, said now we have two kids etc that I should do something with all this or stop taking the supplements. Im 36 now and have trained since 1988. I only began to dabble in the dark side in 2003/4 due to migraine problems with everything steroid wise I tried before. (even 3 x 2mgs winny tabs per day left me in agony. All cycles began stopped after 4/5 days when the migraines started) Anyway, finally worked out what it was and have used not abused bits and bobs since.
So gave NABBA a shot and enjoyed every second. My diet could have been more focused lets say but I did learn masses about that during the journey. I understand im 10-15lbs off in this picture and that my top half overpowers my bottom half.
So question to be answered please if you get a chance anyone is this: Im doing it all again next year, and have began to hit legs hard to bring them up. Ive been lazy in the past with legs so I know what I need to do in that dept. Only I have quite high lats. Im 6ft 3ins (1.89m) and my long body makes them look even higher imo. What tips do you have to bring them up to standard? From a judges/judging perspective am I right to do this? What would be the best plan of action with regards to what I have now? Proportion as well as thickness has always been my goal. Now im on the way so to speak i find it even harder to critique in my own head.
Help please if you can. Thanks.
Great board btw.
