In July my son and I went for a hike up Mt. Aix in the Cascade Range east of Mt. Rainier.

A little south of Mt. St. Helens is Mt. Adams the second highest mountain in Washington State

It took us about four hours to climb about 3,000 feet in 3.7 miles. Going up was a breeze. Coming down Mt. Aix lived up to its name. (pronounced aches)

Two weeks ago I spent 5 days on an island at the mouth of Alberni Sound on Vancouver Island. The Island is only three or four miles in diameter. This is a view from the island. That is where I want to build my castle.

beautiful pics from both of you of the back yards. I would post some back yard pics of the inner city Baltimore, but I don't think anyone wants to see rats the size of small dogs lol.
