I dont think any of us that talked about New Orleans meant to hurt any individual, JOHNNYBRAVO specifically. I am not in his shoes, but it must be a nightmare. I can see why he is upset, I would be hurt also if my city was underwater and everyone was forced to move out who have lost everything. Around a place like this, there is a lot of testosterone. We do talk about current events and each has their own opinion, sometimes a STRONG OPINION. We each want to be treated with as much respect as we get in real life, but that just is not the case in a place like this sometimes. As long as there is no personal attacks or name calling, I think we are all in bounds. If we dont like someones physique, it should be ok to criticize without being attacked. Constructive criticism. Thats all. ::tar-wars

Johhny's opinions, per se, were not the issue.

I happen to agree with a number of his points. He's there, many of the rest of us are not, this was the fault of the hurricane not Bush, etc.

What I find inexcusable is the name-calling, and swearing at other members. No one needs to express their opinions in this fashion, no matter what your views on a given subject.

Well Maybe I got alittle over emotional

The place I grew up is gone. My house is only 7 miles from the line of total destruction, All property is ok, Family got out ok, My brother was at one of the hospitals, (Dr. in the family), and actually SAW the idiots shooting at the helocopters, We did not hear from him until yesterday morning, so you can imagine not hearing from a loved one who is harms way. That you can get a little pissed off when people make dumb comments . My extended family in Slidell, have not heard from (I think there ok), but Slidell is GONE!, The Bridge I used to drag race on..GONE!, My brother told me that there are bodies everywhere in the city, floating all over and gets this...SHARKS! thats right SHARKS in the city steets that must have come from the Gulf, and then made there way to the levee break. Its getting better, but its total chaos. "Gravityfighter" and "The Beef Master" are from there. I hope there ok. Anyway I'm over it, thanks Phil
