Just wanted to share what I walked in on when I got home this evening.
JT was in the kitchen and when I came through the door he yelled, "Don't let him in!" Refering to our cat Loser. I saw just a little bit of this around the edge of the counter, so I scooped up Loser and tossed him out in the sun room. When I walked into the kitchen JT was standing with his foot in this pool.

JT was deadlifting and when he drug the bar up and down his shin it took some skin and what not off. He had just gotten out of the shower and was cooking when the "spurt" happened. He didn't realize it until he felt something wet on his foot, by then he didn't want to track blood across the carpet into the bathroom.

After my initial shock and helping him get his clothes off, I grabbed the camera. Afterall it is a little cool, in a weirdo sort of way.

Wow! Never seen that before! And I (and my friends) have done a lot of deads over the years. My hat is off to you! Awesome set! Its still better than leaning out on the pull and doing some damage where it counts! That dude is now qualified as a true warrior!

I REALIZE I AM A STUPID BASTARD. I KNEW I GOT SCRAPED ON ABOUT THE SECOND REP..THEN OF COURSE I KEPT DOING FURTHER DAMAGE...AND I HAD SWEATS ON.

I TOOK ABOUT AN INCH LONG DING ON THE SHIN....EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE AFTER A WHILE. I STARTED THE CHICKEN, JUMPED IN THE SHOWER, DRYED OFF....GOT MY LONG UNDERWEAR ON....STARTED STIRRING THE CHICKEN AND FELT LIKE I STEPPED IN SOMETHING....WELL, HELL THERE WAS A PUDDLE OF BLOOD ON THE FLOOR.....I WAS STUNNED. IT HAD SOAKED THROUGH AND WAS RUNNING DOWN MY ANKLE. IT HADN'T BEEN BLEEDING WHEN I GOT DRESSED?

I HAVE SOME VERICOSE VIENS ON THAT SHIN...APPARANTLY I DAMAGED ONE BECAUSE WHEN MEREDITH HELPED ME GET MY CLOTHING OFF....THERE WAS A TINY STREAM OF BLOOD LITERALLY FOUNTAINING OUT ABOUT A FOOT ....HECK IT SPLASHED THE CUPBOARDS. I HAD TO SIT ON THE FLOOR AND APPLY DIRECT PRESSURE TO GET IT TO STOP.

LYNX FREAKED A LITTLE WHEN SHE FIRST SAW IT ...ASKING 'WHAT'S WRONG??"....I LAUGHED AND TOLD HER THAT SHE IS SO DAMB BEAUTIFUL THAT THE THOUGHT OF LIVING WITHOUT HER COMPELLED ME TO COMMIT SUICIDE BY DEADLIFT. I GUESS THIS WAS JUST A CRY FOR HELP. LOL....

IF I WASN'T SO HARD-HEADED STUPID STUFF LIKE THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEND TO ME....I THINK MY BLOOD IS THIN...BEEN DOING THAT ECA STACK AND DIETING....LOTS AND LOTS OF BLOOD CAME OUT IN A BIG HURRY.

Gotta Love the basic exercises, No cable machine is ever gona do that 2 ya. I done the same thing doing clean and jerks at a weightlifting club( tho it didnt splurt like that ). A female lifter at the gym cracked up laughing at my white socks now turning pink.

My first thought when I saw the photo was, JT was out poaching deer again…lol.
Got a chuckle out of the term, long underwear, most people on board if from the south probably don’t have a clue they exist but we from the north now it’s clothing for 3 seasons some years. Heal fast bud.
