My dream is to make a living online with my laptop. Does anyone here do that? How could I make a living online?

Covid opened a bunch up. I never met my psychologist in person it’s all video now.

Hey, I know this thread is old, but I'm curious, did you end up making the leap? I've been a digital nomad for two years now, based mostly in Bali. I work as a copywriter and it's been great, but I'm always looking to hear how others are managing things like finding clients, dealing with time zones, and staying productive.

Not OP, but jumping in because I went through something similar.

After I managed to earn enough online to live on it, I ran into another problem that nobody warned me about: taxes. I was living in California, and the state was still taking a significant chunk of my income even though I wasn't physically there anymore.

So I used SavvyNomad to switch my domicile to Florida, where there's no state income tax. They handled all the paperwork, from car registration to the declaration of domicile. That move alone saved me thousands of dollars a year.

Curious though, how do you handle time zones from Bali? That's still my biggest struggle.
