i got 4th in the heavies...friday night i weighed in at 217...i'm 5'8.......i think i was harder, fuller and dryer looking on sunday then on saturday....my timing was off this year.....i probably should have been leaner....also...maybe i just think that because i got 4th....i just know that my conditioning has been better...pics resized and a few added from show day...thanks for the kind words all....god bless

Beef looks real good, You have size without being blocky. How about some brief information like how heavy did you get before cutting down to 217? Do you put on a lot of weight or stay trim during the year? Is it hard or easy for you to add weight? Are you going to take a break from training now? Did you do cardio or just increase your reps to lean out?

well i started my diet at 255lbs.....it's pretty hard for me to gain weight... that's why i usually eat alot of high calorie junk during the offseason because it's the easiest way for me to get the calories i need to grow....this year i will eat cleaner and have smaller meals.....for me to do this cleaner i will need to eat about 8 meals every day....i've been taking it easy this last month....just doing 2 light full body workouts every week....i'll be getting back to the full swing of things in the next couple weeks......as far as what i did to lean out i did a low carb diet w/ 2 carb up days every week.... i gradually increased my cardio every week til i was doing 7 days a week at 30 min a day....i usuallly try to keep using heavy weight / low reps w/ the compound mass building movements.....w/ higher reps used for the shaping movements...hope that answered you ?'s.....peace
