I wanted to see what gyms everyone on here felt were the best gyms for lifting, especially those in the Los Angeles area (but feel free to toss you're favorite gym in even if it's in the middle of nowhere).
My gym is pretty decent (Easton Gym Hollywood), but it pisses me off when some fu#!tard walks right into the area of bar excursion when I am doing deadlifts or squats. It seems like half the guys are pretty serious about their bodybuilding and the other half are some delusional wannabe actors (and a few true legit actors, but I digress).
Personally, I do gymnastics and martial arts as my main sports, but strength training is also a huge part of my training. As such, I want a gym where I can lift heavy weights and not have to worry about other idiots. Plus it would be nice to go to a gym that has the atmosphere of a true bodybuilding gym.
I don't post on here much, but that's because I work about 70 hrs a week, so forgive me if this is a redundant post. And I know of some of the gyms in LA that were famous in the past, but are these still good places to go today?
