I'm curious of what a bikini contest diet looks like. I'm also curious of what the last week looks like, if it is any different. I know that they do have to be smoother than the figure competitors. If you guys don't mind post a diet or maybe even a workout regimen that they go by. I'm just curious because I'm going to train a girl for a bikini contest and want to know the best way to do this seeing that the bikini contest is relatively new to the sport. I thought there might be some of you who have trained one of these competitors or maybe even some contestants. Thanks, PT.

I simply asked for a diet, and i know there are some very educated people on here. I'm the only trainer at my gym that knows anything about bodybuilding contest and plus I am excited to take on the challenge. With all that said, I don't know why you even wasted your time by posting something like that.
 
I never intended to offend, it's just that somebody getting ready for a competition should have confidence in knowing that her trainer is knowledgeable and qualified. I hope you get the answers you're looking for. Good luck to your friend on her comp.

By the way, no, I am not getting paid to do this. This is my first time with this type of client and I told her that i would not charge her for anything because I've never trained and put together a diet for a bikini competitor. I do know a lot about diet and training, and I compete and have trained men to show and figure competitors, but never this exactly. I just wanted to see if I could get some insight.
 
Well every situation is different..depending on the starting point...my sister in law (sarah's sister) started at about 145lbs at 5-4...she was carry a good amount of bodyfat (dont know BF %) and she started her diet about 12-13 weeks out...the diet started out as a low carb, lower fat, higher protein diet with 30 mins of cardio everyday...Training was 5 days a week, with weights...training like a figure girl...becasue she was starting without much training at all...As it got closer we added in some healthy fats, rotated the carbs around...upped the cardio, and really focused on the weak points in training..(actully she is very balanced, but hams, glutes) ...For this week (the last week) she is just going to keept the diet the same, (low carbs, lower fats) and keep the cardio in until friday, cut down the water some...put protan on and go onstage...thats about it...
 
this is like asking for a diet to prepare for a wet t-shirt contest...

sorry, but all the IFBB (which stands for international federation of bodybuilding) "bikini" contest winner are the ones who have the plumpest ass, nice tits, and gives the judges those looks that say "if you give me first place, you won't regret it"

other than that, usually the girl with the most "fit" body places last... the girl that looks like audrey bitoni with the make up that goes with it gets first...

so, to answer your question... clen, T3, GH, maybe anavar... diet could be anything... just let her jog from time to time... no need for weight training... and most important of all, surgery and hydrogel injections.

To the OP why don't you show your knowledge and post what you think the diet should be? Then maybe people will critique it, where you might need to change it. But asking from the ground up, makes you look like you don't know much.

^^^^ Funny that didn't work for me on stage during my first competition...what the hell did I do wrong? Maybe I didn't give them enough "do me eyes." :p

And yes, Bus may have been a little sarcastic with this but it's completely true. The more like a porn star you look, the better chance you have. Abs = not placing, toneness = not placing, junk in the trunk = damn good chance of placing. It's a rediculous class if you ask me.
 
I agree that a plump ass, big tits, and a hot face is basically the key to winning. Also, a tight ass mid sections helps too. Basically, if a girl from Brazil enters the comp its over!

I also think syntherol is going to be rampant in bikini competitors once they figure out they can use it to bring up their ass for the plump look...and I have no objections to more ass :]
 
Give her macros that will maintain/build muscle while losing fat. High protein, moderate carbs and EFAs....somewhere around 300 cals per meal. Introduce a good fat burner like yellow haze immediately. Start your diet aimed at losing a few pounds per week. Train her with 1 exercise, 3-5 sets per bodypart, moderately high reps, 1-2 times per week. Low intensity cardio to keep the heart healthy. Everything will need to be tweeked and specialized based on her individual merits as the days and weeks get closer to contest. Perhaps you should have her hire Phil Hernon who can train her properly and get solid results without being a guinea pig to someone's trial and error and lack of experience. Good luck!

why do you think there are more white women with ghetto booties these days ;)
 
As already stated - it is nothing but a TnA contest. The more of both u have the better u will place.

IMO any hot mid 20s stripper w fake boobs, non cellulite ass n some tats has a very good chance of becoming an IFBB bikini "pro". LOL

I mean no disrespect, but first of all, people work long and hard putting together diets and workouts. These same people often rely on this knowledge to make a living. Knowledge that has come together from years of training themselves and training others; Countless hours in the gym, and countless hours reading/researching etc. If you had a simple question about a diet and or a workout that is different, but what you are asking for is way too much. Maybe you should hire a trainer from the board. (Shelby,Alex,Phil ) It also seems as if you are over your head in this project. Like i said your best bet is to PAY for someone to educate you and your client.

i guess if you have a load of cash to drop then those are good options but for a first timer in a class like bikini thats overkill and really, its not that hard to figure out...
