Everlast and I are finally starting to get settled in our new place. I thought I post of before and after pictures. This is before...

It's a two story building that was built in the 1940's. The downstairs is the office, gym, living room and kitchen. Upstairs is our laundry room, bathroom and bedroom.

The new and improved...

This is what it looked like after we were finished and before me moved in.

More photos

This is our gym. Everlast has an awesome setup. I'm already starting to get spoiled. I don't think I'm going to miss my old gym at all except for some of my friends.

It's an IronMaster machine. http://www.ironmaster.com/store/IM2000-PKG-A-pr-90.html I can do hack squats on the Total Gym. Squats on the smith machine which isn't my preference, but it gets the job done. He does leg press on the smith machine by laying under it and press up on the bar. I'm not real thrilled over it, but I don't really do much leg presses. I usually stick with squats, hacks & lunges. Heck that's enough.

He has the IronMaster Super bench and dumbell package with most of the accessories. I couldn't get a good angle to show our cardo area, but we have a treadmill and bike. Of course they sit where we can workout and watch the 42" TV.

There are also photos of our kitchen where Everlast cooks all those fabulous meals. I'm so bless to have a husband who loves to cook and knows how to cook good bodybuilding meals. :)

Wow...That is a awesome setup...I would love to get a place like that a remodel it...You guys did a great job...Do you have a yard at all??? I figure no but you never know I guess...:D

Thanks Buff. :) The floors turned out great! They are concrete. He grind them down to where the river pebbles would show through, and then polished it. It has a nice shiny finish. In the gym we put rubber interlocking tiles down. Upstairs has an laminated wood floor. Unfortunately the pine wood floors had a horrible coat of black adhesive residue that wouldn't come off. I work for an floor covering adhesive manufacture and no one at work could even help us get that stuff off.

Here are pictures of upstairs. These where taken when we didn't have electricity. I haven't taken any since we moved in, because it's still a complete mess. We're still unpacking.

Thanks. :)

Actually we do have a yard. The building included an adjacent lot. That was perfect for Everlast's business, because most of his equipment is in trailers that he hauls to the job sites.

You did a great job, I love building like that. So, what are you going to do with the hotdog picture in the before pics? You can't let that bad boy go to waste! Also, it may be the porn in me, but is that a stripper pole on your island in your kitchen? :D

What a cool, one of a kind space! Great job! I really like the open layout and flow of loft living too. Very nice Sassy & Everlast!!!

Damn that is awesome! You guys could have been featured on a Flip That House episode. Very nice, and tastefully done.

Very nice setup.

I appreciate the in-house gym setup too. I have one as well - at times, it might not be the best or the most complete, but I think if one gets creative, most things can be done.

I just wish that my basement that I planned on finishing 3 years ago was done. It's one of those 10 year projects - I think I actually have to be doing something for it to move forward. :(

No Kidding, excellent work Sassy & Everlast. I Love how your place is very open and spacious. Was the downstairs floor marble...it looks great.

Just rereading the thread...Everlast that polished concrete floor looks great.

Nice job. It takes a lot of VISION to be able to see what something can look like. Is that a 'stripper pole' in your kitchen?:D JK!

Wow, awesome job you two! You wanna come visit us for a while? We have some unfinished projects around our house. :D

LOL....I didn't see your post about the stripper pole til Buff quoted you. You always said you and I see 'eye-to-eye'....lmao.

Hahaha... we joke around all the time about the stripper pole too. :D

It's actually where the electricity come down from the ceiling to the island for the range & oven. I guess you can say that I give an electrifying striptease!

HawaiiMuscle, yea, that's polished concrete. That's what Everlast's business is.... concrete repair and decorative finishes. We're going to use the building as a showcase for his business. Outside he wants to do a decorative patio and other design elements that he can do.

I'll have to take pictures of the bathroom floors. His supervisor did them with a concrete overlay that is troweled on and stained. It looks very cool! The countertops in the kitchen are concrete too.

The bathroom countertop is granite. Here's a picture of my cat sitting in the upstairs sink waiting for me to turn the water on. lol
