Found a dog i want when i move out

After talking to my parents yesturday about dogs, my dad was telling me about some he liked and my mom too. I looked them up online and stumped on this monster of a dog...a Caucasian Shepherd.
When it stands up, it's around 6 feet tall(Full grown) and can weigh up to around 200 or more. I saw one on youtube that was 180, and his owner was a 150 pound man...
I'm not sure if anyone sells them in the US, but I'm sure atleast one person does, and I bet they're expensive.
They're defensive and will protect their property and family, not aggressive and attack random people.
They honestly look like bears to me lol. I just hope when I move out finally, and get my life set up(talking about in the late furure) I am able to afford a house with alot of land on it for him to run around on.

Anyone here every seen one in person, or know someone who has? I'd like to know how they like them from someone who actually owns one of these beasts.

They are often aggressive with strangers on your property. I've "met" one but read a forum with a few caucasian ovcharka owners and they will probably tell what I'm about to say. If you are someone who has guests (family/friends) over frequently you may want to look at another breed as you will probably have to lock the dog up before company arrives. They are very loyal dogs but very, very independent.

Be aware that there are plenty of "breeders" who are out to make a buck and will tell you anything to make a buck. Caucasian Legend is a kennel I have heard good things about so you may want to start by contacting her.

I think that's part of the Shiloah line of dogs, if thats the case be aware, they're often dumber than a box of rocks!! Pretty dog, but often stubborn and dumb

Im pretty sure ive seen one of them before. I think last week even, a guy was walking one outside my house. They are beautiful. If it wasn't that dog it sure looked a lot like it.

I dont like that bulldog...plus hes like 40 pounds, I'd rather have a 150+ pound one.

why buy when you can probably find a good rescue one at a shelter. Plenty of good breeds that come from neglected families. My wife and I only get mutts at shelters or strays we find.

Here is the type of dog I own. Mine is currently 16 wks old and over 50 lbs now, he'll get around 130-150 lbs fully grown. The one pic is some full grown one I found on the net, the other is my puppy, I'll have to get some current ones of him up for you guys. I didnt get his ears cropped though, my wife didnt want to ,she said it took away the Mastiff look and made him look too much like a Pit. But check out Cane Corso's bro, sweet dogs!! Mine is as smart as a whip and really good with kids too.

They do have a simliar look to a Shiloh, but must have a different line in there somewhere.

Shilohs are actually very smart, like any good GSD.

The males are pretty big - 30+ inches at the shoulder and 110 lbs. or more.

Wow mom, that is one pretty dog.
Do they have any hip problems or other health problems?
how much bigger will you expect him to get?

I think he's about as tall as he's going to get - about 31" at the shoulder.
He weighed in at 112 lbs today, and should get to around 120.

Too smart for his own good! We've taught him some stupid dog tricks, as well as basic obedience, basic tracking, and some agility work.

This is his puppy picture at 9 weeks, and he weighed 21 lbs.

That's gota be one of the cuttest dogs I've seen.
I remember dad saying before you walk him about 30 mins briskly each morning...just wondering, how much land do you live on?
I know not to get a dog that size in an appartment.
