Hey guys, i've never posted in this forum before but i do like to read it semi-often. I was just wondering if my deadlift is decent by powerlifting standards. i'm 190 @ 5'11" and do five sets for deads.
1)135lbs-15reps
2)225lbs-12reps
3)315lbs-10reps
4)405lbs-8/9reps
5)465lbs-6/7reps

I only go to failure on the last two sets, the first three are more like warmups. just want an honest answer so just hit me with it. BTW i do them from the floor and by bending at the waist, not squating down.
 
Looks good to me! Do you pause the reps off the floor or do you bounce the reps off the floor? Keep up the good work! If you pause the reps it is a lot better and harder. If you bounce the reps it is not as impressive.

i pause the reps, i read that each rep should be taken individually. I pause for maybe 1/2 -1 second, then pull like hell.:D thanks for the response.
