GW-501516 for endurance athlete???

i have noticed recently that my endurance/cardio is lagging. i recently stumbled on a couple of threads regarding GW-501516. from my readings it seems like a great endurance enhancer.

my questions...

will GW-501516 help increase endurance?

are guys taking it just for this reason?

can it be taken long term?

does it have to be stacked with anything? (currently on cruise dose of 250mg test and 4iu hgh/day)

5mg is typical dose? is this daily?

Kick ass for endurance. Nothing like caffeine. Just an internal ability to keep going and going. I really think it limits lactic acid build-up because you really never get sore no matter how long or hard you train. I really never get physically tired during the day no matter what I do.

I took for approximately 4 months, so as far as being taken long term, yes.

Initially with MK and then without. The MK ruined my HDL and raised the overall chol. GW helped to reverse everything within 2 months. I had bloods done before and after and nothing was out of line from the GW usage.

5mg. is all you need. I took 10 mg. for approx a week and really did not notice a change so I would stay on 5mg.

I think some guys are using it with AICAR for fat loss but really think it is just an endurance drug more than anything else.

Personally, I would just take for endurance training or competitions.
 
One other thing is that I think stacking GW with nitric oxide / arginine is great. I used to just take straight arginine for BJJ/MMA training and even though I am 45 I could smoke most anyone 18-45 on endurance. Even the guys with freakish skills would generally gas before they could submit me, then the tables would turn and I would win most of the time.

Combining the two would just be unreal, freakish recovery and endurance!
Actually, I think my next cycle will just be GW and Arginine.

One thing you never really want to do though, is to use creatine while doing heavy cardio / high reps in temps above 85F. You can become victim to compartment syndrome. I actually got this in my tri's after doing approx 700 push-ups during MMA training in 90F plus. I couldn't bend my arms for 3-days and my tri's were swollen. Later I found out that I was lucky that I did not get gangrene because your supposed to have emergency surgery to relieve the pressure.

my test did not result in improved HDL's however it did do something positive for my endurance....I think it is definitely worth a shot..

heres my only hesitation with this stuff right now...theres only like 2-3 people on her talking about it. :confused:

i have been searching for a good endurance drug and im just finding this stuff and would love to see some solid results to back it up.

I'm using it...going into the end of my 2nd week at 5mg/day. I don't do a lot of cardio except for a small 15 minute warmup before weights.

I can honestly say that I can go "full-tilt" on the cross trainer and it seems a lot easier.

I don't measure my heart rate, but have been keeping track of my distance in that 15 minutes and it is steadily climbing, but my perceived effort is that it has been getting easier. It's still a little too early for me to judge properly though.
