Healing Tendinitis

specifically, what is the best option for healing long-term severe tendinitis if money is no issue? high dose gh every day for chronic high IGF1 levels? IGF/growth factors injected directly into the injured area? let's suppose money and availability is no issue
 
i had it in my right elbow, and my sports med doc gave me cortizone shots and now its better, and its been about a year now.

i guess i should be more specific

i have tried months of near-inactivity as well as just skirting by with 1-2 workouts a week, mostly lower body. somehow i have held my size and strength well

things i have tried and currently do:

lots of ice
lots of fish oil and multis
avoiding movements that aggravate it
NSAIDS as needed
light pushdowns with bands to pump blood into the area
complete/partial rest for months on end at times with no relief

marginal results at best. this is a chronic condition that has been going on for over a year and nothing in the way of recovery. it's just not healing on it's own :confused:
 
It has been my experience that neither AAS, HGH, or Peptides have helped resolve my tendonitis. Ibuprofren, rest, and ice works best for me...of course, to each their own.

It's interesting you say that. How many ius of gh were you running? Gh has done wonders for my lab rat and the tendonitis he has in his wrist.
 
Try Arnica montana. Both pills and topical cream. Not expensive and worth a shot.

3 ius and 80/200 mcgs grf/ghrp at bed time. I have only been doing this protocol two months now, so it may be too early to tell. However, the tendonitis has started coming back lately, but that may be because I am using really high reps right now, I am about to back of and go lower for a while.
 
I know an "old School" guy who always had this problem. He claims that alot of guys used to use DMSO applied directly to the area, and that it was the only thing that worked for him.
 
Try getting ultra sound done on your tendonitis. Some chiropractic offices offer it. I have the WORST tendonitis in my elbow and have not been able to do triceps heavy in years. I have tried everything....fish oil, joint fuel, cissus, ice, celebrex, taking time off, etc. Ultra sounds help break up scar tissue. I go 3x per week and its been working wonders. Also, my chiro tapes up my elbow with this stuff called kinsio tape which basically helps to reduce any pulling on my tendon. I have finally been able to do skull crushers without any pain. I still am going somewhat light on my tricep exercises because I do not want to overdo it and end up right where I started.

Very interesting. So you're saying that ultra sound would break up scar tissue? Hmmm..........I may have to look into that for my wrist.
