Hi folks, new to the forum here, so I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place...
Just started a new cutting diet about a week and a half ago...
aiming to reduce bodyfat from approx 18% to 12% in 12 weeks and re-evaluate then... My goal would be to compete in the first timers in the Mr. Ireland competition this year, obviously dont expect to get to far.. but would love to do it for the experience for first time in a competition..
Training last 5 years currently hitting heavy weight sessions 5 days a week, followed by 30 min cardio 60% approx max hr each training day.
Stats:
Height 5'7"
Weight 12 stone 6 (172lbs)
Bodyfat 18% approx
Current diet looks like this..
7.30 Half cup full oats and water with 1 tbsp honey and small handful of blueberries and 1 egg, 8 whites, cup green tea and lemon
10.30 Tin of tuna with steam in the bag veg (Brocolli, cauliflower, carrots) Green tea
1.30 Skinless chicken breast, steamed veg as before, 1 medium sized baked potato with 2 tbsp bbq sauce
4.30 Tin of tuna, steamed veg as before, 1 tbsp peanut butter with tsp honey, green tea
5.30 Train
6.30 2 scoops whey with water and banana
8.30 Chicken breast stir fry (1 tbsp bbq mixed herbs and ground garlic), with pepper, brocolli, mushroom and onion. Dessert-Cadburys half fat chocolate mousse (60kcal), or 1 tbsp peanut butter with tsp honey
OR
400g prawns stir fired with veg and dessert as above. (Each using 2tbsp olive oil)
10.30 1 scoop whey with water
OR
150g cottage cheese.
11pm - Bed
I drink about 3 litres of water daily as well
What do you guys think? Feel free to rip it apart or any changes you can think of would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Great site by the way....
