IGF-1 question

Hi guys,

I bought a couple of vials of IGF-1. Each vial has 1mg ( just the powder). How much Bacteriostatic water should I mix in and how do I measure out 40mcg?

I would really appreciate some help.

For 1mg, you mix in 1ml of bacteriostatic water. This gives you a dosage of 1000mcg/ml. On a 1cc insulin syringe, there are tick marks every 2 units. The first mark would be 20mcg, the second would be 40mcg, etc.

If it's IGF-1 LR3, it's not very stable in bacteriostatic water. You should look into acetic acid.
If it is regular rhIGF-1, I really don't know what you dissolve it in.

Thanks a lot bro. So, for 40mcg is it the second mark ( which would only give you a tiny amount) or do you mean the mark that says 20 units (on a 100 unit syringe?

each line increment as 20 mcg. as well you need to stabilized it in 1ml of .6% acedic acid then when your ready draw out X amount and dilute it with 3 times that and your good to go

If just putting it in Bac water make sure to keep it in fridge. read you can also use distilled white vinegar instead of AA. If you do use aa or vinegar make sure to also add bac water in syringe before you inject it.

If it is ok, how long will it last if kept cold ???

If you have IGF vial with 100 mcg in it and you add 1ML (the whole 1 cc unit with the 100 marks on it ) then you will get in each unit 1 mcg igf !

100 : 100 = 1

Oh I didnt see the 1mg vial which will be 1000 mcg ..My bad
