I work from home and have a new lap top but an older desk top. I had the wonderful idea of downloading IE 8 to upgrade from IE 7 on it.
WRONG SONG! I use an outside access to microsoft outlook to get into my business email, files, a VPN etc.
In the outside access, once I dl'd IE 8, I would type and a couple letters would come up then freeze, took several minutes to see what I had typed, just a pain. Several other people had the same problem.
Thanks to Mo Chuisle (Thanks Baby T), she helped me remove IE 8 by adding Mozilla Firefox as my internet access, then load IE 7 again.
Just wanted to thank her for being so awesome and let others know if you have an older desk top and have done the same thing, that might be the problem.
