Internet help

[The BB Monad]

I am currently in China and cannot access some of my usual sites, including another board that I belong to.

How can I go around this? I have tried Freegate 6.80 but it doesn't seem to work for some reason.

I myself know very little about computers.

Any help with a good software is very welcome! Thanks.

I remember reading during the summer Olympics that China had banned INTERNET access to much of the web...so maybe its their (china) ISP that have restrictions on where you can surf.
