just read about it hear. Very sad, if you ever read his thread on MM he was a very freindly helpful guy and had an amazing physique in his day.

I met Joe Meeko in the 80's, when he was at the top. Former AAU Mr. America and Mr. Universe. His physique was ahead of it's time.

I remember Joe from back in the day...very good bodybuilder to say the least...and I've heard nothing but great things about him.

May his soul rest in peace...

VERY sad to hear. I have a close friend with Lymes and this scares me for them.

joe killed himself.. not lyme disease.. he was very depressed after failed marriage ect..
