How is the strength holding up?
It held up pretty well this prep, for the most part. About 10 days ago I cranked down the intensity of both my training and cardio quite a bit though, as I don't want to injure myself, deplete myself too much, or risk losing any muscle.
My cardio is very low intensity now, typically 2.4mph on the treadmill with an incline of about 6-7.
For training, right now I'll just go in and choose a few exercises and do 12-15 reps, add weight, do another 12-15 reps, etc. until I can no longer get 12 reps, then I stop.
I'm not looking to build any muscle at this point.. just maintain and stay healthy and somewhat full.
I'm definitely looking forward to getting back to higher intensity training this offseason though.
