looking for used vertical leg press for my gym

preferably nebula...i can only find cheap home gym looking vertical leg presses. any one help me out?

I owned a gym and ocassionaly I bought second hand stuff on ebay. If you are patient you can find high end (nebula, life fitness, precor) for about a 1/3 of retail. Just pay attention to shipping fees. They can be significant. Now do you mean 90 degree verticle? or 45 degree? I'm not aware of many 90 degree commercial quality leg press machines. Most of them are body-solid or tough stuff. Good pieces for home use, but miles away from nebula. Also lots less money.

There's a place here in town that buys and refurbishes gym equipment. It called Venture Fitness in Jacksonville, Fl. It's huge!!! You could give them a call. If they don't have it they can get it. They have very reasonable prices of commerial equipment. He's says they get two truck loads a month. My friend just bought a very nice leg press for $1200. (completely refurbished)

I would check ebay and if you have local papers or sites like craigslist, You could also google on used training equipment.

i have opened 3 anytime fitness's in the last 2yrs. we are opening a new one in scottsdale,arizona, and i want a vertical leg press preferably by nebula. its the only commercial one i have seen that looks heavy duty and legit for a gym...

I have personally used that leg press and it is awesome. Very high quality just like all of their other products. If desperate just contact them in Ohio and Im sure you can get one new. Im like you, I wouldnt settle for anything less.

thanks maldorf...my business parnter has talked to him. they are just so much more expensive than anyone else its very hard to justify as an owner wanting to be profitable to carry their product. but i will buy it new from them if we cant find a used one.

Not sure if you have used to or not, but it really is a great leg press. The back support is superb and really supports the lower back. I never once felt any strain down there. Ive only seen it in one gym, a hardcore gym in Ohio. I doubt there are very many out there for sale used. I know the gym owner here would never think about parting with his.

i figured thats why i couldnt find one used...we had one at golds gym here in fort wayne, indiana til it closed down. wish i could track down where it went...

Nebula makes some sweet stuff..I have used a cheaper version of that and my back always hurt afterwards...im sure thats not the case for the Nebula.
