Making AA and filter substitution...?

Hey guys I was planning on making some AA for some IGF research and was going to be using the distilled white vinegar and distilled water protocol with a whatmans filter. My question is I have misplaced the whatmans filter, cant find it for the life of me and all I have on hand is filter needles! Does anyone know if you could use them instead? their only 5 microns.... Just wondering cause I was wanting to make some for immediate use but if I have to wait I guess I have to wait... Thanks

For water, the standard is .22 micron or smaller. So it won't be sterile.

Agreed. 5 um won't work for sterility purposes. Wait and purchase the correct filter tips.
