Merchant Account Business

Hello everyone,
I wanted to see if anyone here works in the merchant account field, such as a full time employee for a bank, or merchant company, independent sales agents or independent sales offices. And how hard is the field to make money? Pros/ Cons ect ect

I worked for one of the largest merchant account companies a few years ago, but this was in their research department (I basically went over contracts and such, no selling) but I have heard it could be a very good income, I'm just trying to speak to people actually in the field and see what is going on.

With what they charge in fees, they can certainly pay well. There are tons of hidden fees on my merchant bill.

sadly, most of my sales experience is in "inside sales" so I'm having a very hard time to even get an interview for this outside sales position... damn it pisses me off lol

I'm very familiar with the field having been a merchant for about a decade and moving from place to place. It's a shady industry to be honest. You have to be ruthless and Ok with screwing people or making very little to be honest, one or the other.
