Miserable Sunday at my house. My cat died.

I woke up this morning and my 8 year old cat was dead on the floor next to the bed. I have 3 dogs and 2 (now 1) cat. It was completely unexpected. But I am glad I found him and not either of my 2 kids or my wife. Its not fun when you reach down to pet them and they are stiff.

He was a great cat. He was a real people cat and loved to follow the dogs around. Lots of tears at my house. Didnt know I still had them in me.

oh man, im sorry to hear that. we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. One dog is about 14 years old and every day i fear i am going to wake up and he will be gone.

This is a little embarrassing but my girl and I together have 4 cats, we love them to death. I'd be absolutely devastated.

I'm sorry to hear this bud, wish you the best. Go find a stray or adopt one as one life went you can save another bud.

About a week ago we went to a local shelter and adopted a cat. My daughter named her Bird because she sounds like a bird when she purrs. Its very funny.

She is fitting in better and better with the dogs. My dogs are very friendly to cats, and this cat is not used to dogs. The other cat and her are getting closer as well.

But as the photo shows, Bird seems pretty happy to be out of her metal cage waiting for her turn to be Euthanized. So, some good came from my loss.

we have a 13 yr old dog and a cpl cats ,
our fav is the 13 yr old cat , shes a 20 plus lbs girl and shes like a room rug that moves rooms where ever we go
i know at her age and wieght our time is limited , makes me misty just to think about it

nice job rescuing the cat when my cat died i thought it'd be easier to just not get any more pets but my mom got one and i've been looking after him. it's pretty nice knowing you're helping out some poor creature.
