Hello crew, decided to take some shots of my offseason. Training is going great, eating seems to be going pretty well (could be better), and life in general is good...tiz the season! Hope all is well with everyone else!

Also, I am working with Alex A this upcoming prep and really like the way he does things - great outlook and hands on knowledge. So, I know I will be in good hands since I have always done my own prepping in the past. But, just need to keep doing my offseason thing till that time comes and see if I can grow a bit more...did someone say food;):D

Looking damn good Lenny! Still very lean! How much weight have you put on so far this offseason? Obviously very little fat gain.

Thanks. It has been at this point a 18lb gain from my competition weight. My goal quality gains first and go from that point in my offseason. My weight has stayed pretty steady for awhile and kept cardio in there to keep the eating going in the right direction. I just assume more lean mass gain will increase my appetite for the better.

Well, I feel my hamstrings and back are improving with more muscle, but slowly. I am doing my best to pound those muscles out. I double up on both the hamstrings and back each week. I figured they will respond eventually and I see some changes, but I will just keep grinding it out. Thanks Shelby.

cross striations in the quads are looking good...Lennny is going to be looking his best ever.. im pretty confident of that.

I want to add this to everyone here on PM.... Lenny is about the most respectfull, nicest guy here on this forum..

So many of you guys are too! but he is right up there with the best.... as far as attitude, willingness to learn.. this guy is one of the best to work with.

I have pushed to keep his off season condition nice and tight and training hard and heavy..

Going into the prep.. it will be about slowly grinding down the bodyfat and keeping all ....or as much of that muscle as possible..

People dont even know that Lenny is just getting started competing.. He looks pretty seasoned already.. but we are not in a hurry... Quality over quantity is our moto..

so our goal over last year is ..... more seperation in the hams , back and glutes, more quad sweep.... and more fullness and thickness up top...

He is following my moto of...

" as soon as i compete.. i want to address my weaknesses , develop a plan, work the plan, and prepare for my next show immediately"..

lenny you need to pound those quads bro, they are a weakness in the armor, you have thin legs and trying to keep striations in them in the offseason i don't feel is "properly" addressing that problem.
Also im asking you right now not to go for the ultra shredded look or you will look like a marathon runner. You need to find your sweet spot of size and seperation. remember phil hernons words... this is a bodybuilding contest not a dieting contest, I say that because you have never really had a problem getting lean, so take in some dense calories and grow bro don't worry about staying so lean in the offseason ( that don't mean become an all out fatass either). I have always been one of your biggest fans as i think you got hella potential in this sport, so thats why i even bothered to post that, it was written with "love" and not meant to be taken any other way. (I say that cause sometimes my way with words don't come out across the computer like i meant it to sound) :)
 
what show do you plan on hitting this year? jr. nationals?? or a state show?

You have a lot of potential - make sure you maximize it!
