PCT even if on TRT?

i'm coming off a long blast due to bad bloodwork and have decided to stay on 150mg test weekly. someone told me that he runs a PCT after blasts even though staying on test year round. he said its good for keeping gains. hcg, clomid and nolvadex for 30 days.

does this make sense? i've never heard of running pct while still on test but i just recently decided to stay on test year round. the guy is big and competes. he appears to know his shit and gets info from a trainer.

I wouldn't waste the money myself, mabey some HCG if you don't want your nuts to lose there "gains"

i have plenty of clomid and nolda on hand anyway.. do you think there is benefit to using them?

In terms of keeping gains 0 imo. In terms of fertility and that sort of thing mabey. Dante did an interesting post on it a while back but i really can't remember what he said on the issue. Might get lucky and hel chime in or mabey search all posts by dogcrap

clomid for fertility. Big A talks about it in his Growth for Beginners. Take 50mg clomid eod

I will definitely take it then. I have no kids yet so I would like to do whatever I can to make sure I don't hurt my chances. Thanks for the info guys

i ran it sporadically when i felt i needed a boost. but i was not consistent with it.

Ok well I don't really see a point in running a pct if your not coming off... Instead what I would do would be start using hcg.. I would think you trt doc should have already thought about that, maybe hel prescribe it or if not its easily procured through our sponsors

i don't have a trt doctor. i just made the decision to stay on. i have plenty of hcg though.

Ok .. That's my advice man.. I stay on most the year with a few months off but run hcg all the time.. 500 is a week is usually good for me.. It may initially take more for u to get started tho

I've been on 100mg of Test E for 8 months straight now with no need for HCG, but I have it on hand just in case.

save the clomid for when you're ready to start trying to have a kid. Like someone else said use the HCG if you want to maintain testicular volume (size).

are any of these going to help maintain muscle? and also i want to do whatever i can to not hurt my chances of having kids. i dont care all that much about my testicule size.

in my humble opinion Pct is not needed while coming down to maintainence'T' levels but if you're worried about muscle loss when coming down from higher 'T' doses then maybe include some 'TProp' with your maintainence dose?

every1 has their rituals they feel they must follow to make it all come together for themselves--just like many combat soldiers have charms that they wouldn't dare go into battle without (mine were montenyard bracelets...lol)--if for whatever reason a certain technique works for others then good for them and they should stick with it but it doesn't mean its necessay-for you?
