Peptides for obesity and addictions

Can you tell me more about rimonabant and any other drugs for obesity or addictions. I have a girlfriend who is addicted to nicotine and my dad has uncontrolled Type II diabetes and weighs about 370lbs at 6ft.

Can it also be used by individuals with heroin, pain killer addictions? A friend I know is hooked on these drugs and its just a matter of death unless I find something that works.

what specifically do you want to know. Rimnobrant helps by reducing craving but its not a drug that is going to knock 20lbs of you in a month. The weight loss is slow but steady, and the studies showed that they were about 80% fat. Keep in mind these are individuals who made no lifestyle changes. So it was just like they ate less. In the case of diabetes a change in diet and exercise would be much healthier than simply taking this. Look into some EFA's and things to help with insulin sensativity, that combined with exercise will help her overall reaction to insulin.

As far as nicotine, oxytocin might be a cheaper substitute for helping with gettin over that addiction when combined with a plan to decrease use.

Any studies or additional info on rimbonant you can direct us to? The product sounds intresting but I would like to know more before I buy. Even the IBE site is a bit short on useful information.
