A lot of you share pictures of your kids and family. I thought I should post up a couple of pictures of my 2 little girls aged 7 and 6. Pics were taken last fall and xmas. One picture was taken about 1 month into karate. My youngest had just broken her first board with a front kick!

They get along very well. Many people that see them think they are twins! They are very close friends. If one is sad and cries, the other one will cry too!

I'm thinking ahead to when they are off alone at college and have to fight off the boys!

Really though, I want them to have self confidence and not be so timid/scared. Neither one is a risk taker, and my oldest is scared to try anything new. Doing the karate has helped with this.

A little girl puts so much of her "worth" in what her Dad thinks of her... as I'm sure you already are/do, shower them with hugs, kisses, and how wonderfully important they are to you!

Yeah, Tae kwon do. They seem to really enjoy it. Most of the neighbor girls are off doing soccer, mine like the karate.

my 18 yo girl is now heavy into thai boxing ( yes i am worried about her face ..)
and my 13 yo girl was boxing until recently ( got unwell but getting better).
I think its very good for them.
