Mainly from manipulating water and sodium, and using an over the counter diuretic.

whats the difference in terms of calorie intake in prepping a natural as opposed to someone using PED's. Lets say if the same guy was to jump on juice, obviously the results will be faster but does One Basic Metabolic rate also increase?

It's not the same for everyone. Bottom line, it needs to be taken case by case and week by week.
