Puppy (Champ) Update Pic

As requested here are a couple pics of my Pup at a little over 5 months. He is currently 50 lbs which is a little more than double his weight from when we got him. The second pic is kind of dark and he is standing with our Retriever (Hanna) who is nearly 9 years old. You can see he is starting to get a little jacked I like it!

Man .......that is a beautiful dog you got there .......I hope all is well you and that great looking family that you have ........What your plans for 06 ? USA's or NA 's ? [ both ? Maybe Nationals ] I am close with Grigori Attoyan ......he sayes he has watched you improve greatly over the years and thinks that you be a serious threat to anyone in the heavyweight class this year .....said he doesnt really know you.......but respects you as a competitor and said you seem to be a good man .[ I mentioned to him that you post on this board ,and that I have always saw you as a class act ......He doesnt post on the net at all .....he is like you, a hard working family guy .....he asked me to send you his best and that hopes to see you on stage this year ........really seemed to have respect for you and your physique [said that your improvements that couple of years have been incredible ]......and honestly bro ....that speaks volumes .....he is not really like that ...not one to throw around compliments ......especially about his other competitors ......he is quite ....almost shy at times .....so Mr Zona , ...you must be doing something right ....lol......i knew i was right about you ......lol ] .......Take care of yourself ......and keep up the good work ......I wish you and your family nothing but the best ............

Well, that is good to hear. The respect is mutual. Grigori is a great competitor and to be honest I consider both he Famaraz the biggest threats in the heavies. I first competed against him in 2003 where he placed 10th in the heavies and I was 6th. He has made vast improvements as well....placing as high as 2nd at Nats in 2004. This past year at the USA he was 4th and I was 9th....funny because 4 months later at the Nationals I was 4th and he was 9th. I spoke with him briefly at the USA beacuse I had heard about the loss of his father and wanted to express my condolonces. We were kind of in the same boat as I had just lost my mother 4 days before the USA. He had a tough year as well....I think that whole "Road to the Pros" thing messed up his prep for Nats. Be sure to give him my best!

I am getting too old to take too long of a break. So many up and coming young guys like yourself passing me by. I will probably target either the NA's or possibly the Nationals. We'll see what kind of progress I can make in the coming months. Right now I am the smallest, fattest and hairiest I have been in years. Trying to intentionally divert my focus elsewhere for now.
