Alright so. I've been having trouble finding a routine that suits my body. I have wide shoulders and a slim waist, and I am definately a hardgainer. I'm only 17 so gear isn't an option, which places even more emphasis on my need for a suitable routine. I understand that it's different for everyone and different people get different results with different routines, but if anyone with my body structure that has trouble gaining weight and mass could offer some things that worked for them? Also, is RC's UHT routine designed for my kind of application? Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
BASICS

STICK TO THE POWERLIFTING BASICS AS THEY WILL PROVIDE A GREAT BASE FOR BODYBUILDING. SQUATS, DEADS, POWERCLEANS AND BENCHPRESS ALSO AT YOUR AGE YOUR CHEST CAVITY IS STILL SOFT. SOME DB PULLOVERS WILL THICKEN UP THE CAVITY WHICH IN TURN DISPLAYS AWSOME PECTORIAL DEVLOPMENT. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS WHILE YOUR YOUNG. FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT YOU HAVE TROUBLE IN THE MOST LIKE CALVES, TRAPS SO THAT THE BASE WILL BE SET FOR PACKING ON EVEN SIZE THROUGHOUT YOUR GAINS IN THE FUTURE. AS YOU ARE ON THIS WEB AT A YOUNG AGE I'M SURE YOU WILL TAKE THE PLUNG WHEN YOU ARE READY. MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH YOU STUFF BEFORE HAND. GOOD LUCK
 
I would stick to the basics at first. You do not need to use iso's at this stage. I would recommend a 3 day a week fullbody alternating A & B

A)

Squat
Bench
Bent Row
Military Press
Curl
Skull Crusher

B)

Deadlift
Incline Press
Pulldown or Pullup
Shrug
D Curl
CG Bench

2 sets of 8-10 reps after 2 warm up sets.
Stick with this and build a good base. Also get a calorie rich diet with plenty of nutritious food.

So it would be like..Monday Wed Friday..A B A?
 
Yes. Once you feel you need more time for recuperation you then do 2 days inbetween workouts. The stronger you get the more time you will need in between workouts.
