RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SINGLE GUY IN VEGAS....

Hey I will be in VEGAS for the MR. O weekend, but I get in on thursday afternoon and my friends do not get in until FRIDAY late afternoon.

BEsides hitting the gym, anyone have any recommendations??
I will be staying at the EXCALIBUR.

I have been to VEGAS many times, but for bachelor parties and the SIN of SINCITY, but never to just hangout and find things to do.

Take the tram to Mandalay Bay and hang buy the pool if you can get in. Its still hot out here and the pool will be packed. There will be a bunch of industry parties going on Im sure. BSN will have one most likely and then there are all the other spots to hit up. It just depends on what you are into.

Well, I am into anything really...just looking for something to do...I could sit by a poolside and look at some ladies

I see it is still in the MID to HIgh 80's....hell it is 45 and 34 here.

I think my white ass might catch on fire if I am in the sun too long.

HOw about a club that does not require a dress code??

well the pool at the Ex isnt the best but Mandaly pool you will need a key or someone with a key, you may be able to walk into Luxor pool that is a step up from the excalibur for sure. Thursday is a great party night www.napkinnights.com will give you up to date info if you just want a cool place to drink the beach may be good ( like a college party kinda fun when there is a big convention) or the double down saloon is cool you can head to caesers or the fashion show mall for "shopping-people watching" in mandalay there a few clubs and bars to hang out it and will be full of meat heads starting thrudsay

If you had to rank them, what would be the top three
in your opinion?

Mainly for Steak and/or seafood?

Steak, we stayed at the cheap ole Stratosphere
and I seen a lot of Tits and thongs at the pool!! actually more then what I seen In cancun.

Ceasers and luxor have really good clubs, but they are really strict on dress code.

Hard rock and the palms pool area during the day has the younger college crowd. Lots of scenery.

If your looking to gamble, barbary coast next to ballys has some of the cheapest table limits.

I liked Margaritaville and Hera's out door bar was pretty cool and very casual crowd.

Paris.....lobster tails and king crab legs (and good sized ones) and open grill serving filet minons plus the wood fired grill on the side with chicken kabobs, meats, ect

Bellagio....BRUNCH for sure...sushi, bbq atlantic salmon, chicken wellington, and champagne (all you can drink) are some of my favs

There is a cafe in Ceasars Palace thats open 24hrs and its got a good menu. They also serve a smaller brunch and lunch menu thats less crowed but JUST as good as the regular buffets. There usually some sort of live music there and they have the guy making omletes and such for you. Hard Rock hotel has a cafe thats similar but not as good in my opinion. Just a typical "greasy spoon". Ive had the steak and eggs many times there which is about the only thing I can remember being good.

I used to go to Vegas about once a month to gamble and see friends, so I can remember a bunch of places. Hope that helps.

Paris sounds REAL Good!
I Love Crablegs..here there served Hot, I noticed most the places in vegas
they are served on Ice. Ill take em however though

top buffets for seafood and steaks, well on sunday at Beliagio they have a brunch with everything even filets and new yorks , its a tough one man, even at the Wynn the buffet everyday is pretty damn impressive for seafood and steaks. There is a sushi buffet I hit all the time, little of the strip but 24 bucks and its on, guy hides the yellowtail sashmi when he sees me I swear.

Oh my everyday fav is Hardrock hotel, luckys cafe not on the menu just say steak and shrimp and you get a new york and 3 jumbo shrimp for 7 bucks.

I have wanted to go to vegas REALLY bad for 2 yrs.. I will be going next summer or this sspring break (not sure which yet) and have researched vegas HEAVILY (havent been though)

here are some things to check out:
race track by the flamingo hotel (go carts on a real life track going 40mph... sounds awesome and its supposed to feel like you are flying)

assault rifle ranges... rent a gun, buy the shells and take out targets such as cars... need i say more?

thats all i got besides checking out the pools/gambling/clubbing/strip clubs/shows
