Hey Guys I copied this off the Mayhem site. Some of you may have seen this already.
I met Joe on several occassions at local shows in the NYC area as well as I have seen him compete twice. I saw him compete at the Jr. USA's in Philly in 02.. I believe that he won his class there...heavyweight. I saw him again at Jr. nationals the following year in Chicago. ( I think) ... I have been to too many shows to remember.
I know that Jason Arntz prepped for many of his state and national level contest. What I did not know was that he had a heart transplant and he came back to compete after!!
Joe was always very friendly to me and I know that he was well liked it sad to hear that he has died.

R.I.P. Joe Baglio

I just got news that Joe Baglio passed away last night. Some of you may know him (also known as Joe Bags). He competed on the National level a few years ago. He has been through a lot including a heart transplant in 2004. He even came back to compete this year.
He was in Columbus for the Arnold and was due to work in the Met-Rx booth however he got really sick and had to be rushed to the hospital, he was there all week in Ohio and passed away last night. I don't have the details as to how/why he died. I knew Joe personally, he was a really nice guy. I feel for his family as this seemed to be sudden.
I got a Met-Rx magazine from the Arnold Expo and there is an article about him and his comeback from the heart transplant.
