Ok... I have a brave streak in me today, so here goes it. I've been lurking for about year, but from what I've seen you guys are amazing. Your dedication and hard work is so inspiring. I feel like I'm no where near you level, but that's what bodybuilding is all about. Work in progress. My background...
I've been training for over 20 yrs. Never in a million years thought I would be in the shape to compete, but in 1999 I took the plunge and at 33 yrs old I did my first competition. I've been competing on and off ever since. I stayed natural up until last year. It's been a challenge for me, because I had surgery and which lead to a forced menopause. My challenge is that my body doesn't produce any hormones... no estrogen and very little test. This lead me to this board. I needed information on test for women.
These pictures are from my last competition in 2005. I don't have any current pictures of my progress, but I'm on a cutting cycle now. I'll post more pictures as I meet my goals. My original plans were to compete in the NPC bb competition this June in Chattanooga, but things didn't work out that way. I'm battling some injuries right now... I've got tendonitis in my right elbow and I think I've pulled my right delt. In December a tore the ligaments in my left fore arm, and I missed 6 wks of training.
Taylormade, thanks for all your help! There should be a caption at the bottom of my photos that say, "Body by Taylormade"
