Seattle - best bodybuilding gyms?

Moving to Seattle.. anyone know the best bodybuilding gyms out there close to Redmond / Bellevue area? Thanks for any input guys!!!

Pretty much any of the Golds are going to be your best bet. Not sure where you're moving from, but any gym in the Bellevue/Redmond area will be more of a fashion show than a hardcore gym environment.

yea I figured as much. I did see some golds on the map, but I also know they have gone down hill a bit, at least some I have visited. I am from the Midwest, we have a gym here that almost every bb'r (competing) in the area goes to, been around for almost 40 years, gonna miss it.

we would be living in that area of Seattle, was hoping to find one within 20min of their.

I've lived in Seattle with the exception of my four years of undergrad so very familiar with the area. What part of Seattle are you moving to?

IronWorks is the best I've trained at, but it's in Bellevue so a little out of the Seattle area. Definitely worth a half hour drive or so.

Flex Fitness/G Standard Gym is another one that's awesome for bodybuilding/powerlifting but it's south of Seattle in Tacoma. Gabe Moen owns that place.

The Washington Athletic Club (WAC) is one of the best in actual Seattle but it's not a "Hardcore" gym. But a lot of ex-hawks/sonics and offseason pros will train there. There's more but those are my favs in that area.

David Barton gym in Bellevue if you're looking for a club feel with some fine women everywhere lol.

I used to lift at the Renton LA Fitness, which was alright, but could be a real zoo. Once bought a bunch of used plates from a gym in Redmond, definitely had a good impression of the place. Can't remember the name though, tucked in a little stripmall.

Awesome man. The Bellevue/Redmond area is an awesome place in general, you'll definitely like it there. David Barton gym was a little bit of a joke. I got a free month pass there and it's fun to go to cuz it's different from any gym experience I've ever been too but not a great hardcore gym. Iron works though.. that place is everything a bodybuilder/powerlifter would ever want. Pretty cheap too.

The redmond 24 hour fitness is pretty solid too if you're more in the redmond area than bellevue.

Golds in Issaquah has a good group of competitive bodybuilding women. Last Fitness in Renton is the best of the la fitness in the area. Ironworks is still a gym.
