Hey Fella's, thought I would toss up some pics before I begin the slow and steady 16 week prep in February. Me and Alex A have a plan and I am 100% confident in Alex knowledge and experience and know I will only get better the route we are taking. The scale is not the indicator, the quality lean muscle will be do the talking for this prep. My weight is in the 190's right now, so whatever it takes to look my fullest, leanest, and muscular is what Alex will be guiding me into it.

After this prep, I will have to continue to add mass which I know...just wanna to keep it quality this year and do not get me wrong, I ate this offseason, very fueled and high energy in the gym. Yes, prolly need a longer and more caloric offseason and that will happen after I get this goal done!

So, here are some set of pics, the lighting was kind of faded due to the time of the day, but still gonna post them up. Thanks crew!

I am fully confident in what we are going to be doing bro.. Im really proud of the hard work man.. :)

you have not only beefed up but stayed nice and tight ...


Folks keep in mind.. Lenny is not a national level competitor yet..

he is working his way up.. Hes young and not trying to jump 3 weigh classes in a year. There is no hurry.. Im sure Lenny enjoyed this off season and will be very happy with his contest prep..

bbing is about building your physique by learning and then making it happen...

And Lenny is one example of what bbing is about.. a guy committed all year..

Dam! :eek: How do you keep those legs so seperated in the off season? Noticible size and you sayed lean. Your prep isn't going to be that difficult. Good job!

MAJOR improvements from last year my friend! chest is much fuller, arms are much bigger, and legs are just insane!!!

I would say that you just need to work on your posing in these 16 weeks more than you need to work on your diet and training! :) ... condition is in the bag, what's left is just how to show it off.

but really bro... WOW! you did a hell of a job!

the statement was very true.. You have to show it off .. and show it off proper and like you are a seasoned competitor.. show the judges that you know your shit..

I want you walking out with full confidence, a nice smile and hit your poses like you own it man.. You will.. but we are going to work on some of those too..

I agree with everyone.. his condition is solid.. and dont let that scare some away. lenny will be eating very good in this prep and cardio at a minimum.. the situation hes in.. makes for a great starting point ... i really like it!
but if he was a fat slob .. i would work him into shape too...

Greg, I swear I that this year my legs just stay very separated. Nothing special - squats, hack or leg press, stiff leg deadlift, and some other iso's throw in the mix each and every week. Thanks for being such a huge support and being motivated as well!

Thanks Buselmo for the comments. I just have kept the eating pretty balanced across the board, and yes some pancakes tossed in the mix here and there. My body has been going the quality route, my strength is been improving, and output in the gym has felt great. I will not let the scale dictate me, only my muscle! I figured if I went up 20 plus pounds from my competition weight and kept in mostly quality, I would be able to let my body do the talking. Yes, I plan on growing some more after this season.

I will work on the posing. Alex has that covered as well.

Alex, thanks for being such a great coach. I know having you in my corner will only make things better with his experiece and knowledge. Promuscle is such a great place for knowledge and community, so that is why I keep everyone in the loop on my prep. As Alex said, "prep" stands for preparation, not always about cutting weight, but bringing the best package. Thanks again Alex!

I rarely make comments anymore but I felt I needed to here......

You are in a great place right now. You're bigger and fuller and lean enough to not have to do drastic stuff to get into condition. You hold onto so much more muscle when you are not killing yourself to get into shape. Nice work.
