Lenny is definately what I would call a real bodybuilder and I can't wait to see the results of your collaboration.
Lenny as always top notch physique that is always improving, looking forward to falling your progress.
Likewise to you Tony. One step at a time. You are always motivating as well, thanks.
Dam!
How do you keep those legs so seperated in the off season? Noticible size and you sayed lean. Your prep isn't going to be that difficult. Good job!
Greg, I swear I that this year my legs just stay very separated. Nothing special - squats, hack or leg press, stiff leg deadlift, and some other iso's throw in the mix each and every week. Thanks for being such a huge support and being motivated as well!
Thanks bro!
offseason??? 16 weeks??? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
fuck, those pics look like you're 2 weeks out!!
MAJOR improvements from last year my friend! chest is much fuller, arms are much bigger, and legs are just insane!!!
I would say that you just need to work on your posing in these 16 weeks more than you need to work on your diet and training!
... condition is in the bag, what's left is just how to show it off.
but really bro... WOW! you did a hell of a job!
Thanks Buselmo for the comments. I just have kept the eating pretty balanced across the board, and yes some pancakes tossed in the mix here and there. My body has been going the quality route, my strength is been improving, and output in the gym has felt great. I will not let the scale dictate me, only my muscle! I figured if I went up 20 plus pounds from my competition weight and kept in mostly quality, I would be able to let my body do the talking. Yes, I plan on growing some more after this season.
I will work on the posing. Alex has that covered as well.
thanks all you guys.. i agree.. lenny is top notch..
but i agree too. a bit on working on the posing . No offense to you bro... you know me..positive is my moto here...
You know im in your corner all the way.. but im going to help you with some of the poses..
the statement was very true.. You have to show it off .. and show it off proper and like you are a seasoned competitor.. show the judges that you know your shit..
I want you walking out with full confidence, a nice smile and hit your poses like you own it man.. You will.. but we are going to work on some of those too..
I agree with everyone.. his condition is solid.. and dont let that scare some away. lenny will be eating very good in this prep and cardio at a minimum.. the situation hes in.. makes for a great starting point ... i really like it!
but if he was a fat slob .. i would work him into shape too...
Alex, thanks for being such a great coach. I know having you in my corner will only make things better with his experiece and knowledge. Promuscle is such a great place for knowledge and community, so that is why I keep everyone in the loop on my prep. As Alex said, "prep" stands for preparation, not always about cutting weight, but bringing the best package. Thanks again Alex!
Wow Lenny! Look at the separation and condition. Unbelievable bro!! Alex has steer you in the right direction. Well done!
I honestly think that's the best Lenny we have seen so far.
Good luck Lenny!! Alex your the man!!! Props to u both...
Thanks BigChef, I feel like I am in a good place and Alex is good at steering me in the right direction, can I be better, prolly so, but I have time to keep packing it one each year.
ive been working w alex myself and he is awesome. ive dropped 50 lbs in 4 months w his help. you are in good hands and will blow some folks away man.
Thanks, you are in good hands too. There are some great coaches on Promuscle and from the sounds of it you are doing great, keep it up!
Nice, Lenny. Really like the seperation in the legs. Looks like you wouldnt need to start prep until 8 weeks...lol..Awesome man!
Thanks bro...Yes, that is why slow and steady will be the concept of this prep!
yo.....its gonna be so easy from here man
you wont even need alex
Thanks Tenny, and nice pics on the main board! Alex is great to have in my corner, keeps another eye perspective on things.
Good stuff Lenny - I look forward to seeing what you and Alex put together this year.
Thanks Shelby, you are a great coach as well and seasoned competitor...it shows thru your clients and competitions. Yes, I feel me and Alex have a great plan heading into preparation this year. It should be fun!
