Have a question? I am on a low carb high protein diet. Works great. I have heard from a few people that a keto or low carb diet can slow your thyroid production down and to supplement t3 to help things along. I have cycled t-3 before using the ramp up and ramp down theory with a different diet. Could one use t-3 at a steady dose like 25mcg or even 50mcg a day and benefit from it? I would think that it would be benefit. My goal is not to lose too much muscle by losing fat to fast. My diet is clean self raised long horn beef and pork and chicken. I eat just around 300 grams of protein a day. I keep carbs under 30-40 grams a day and eat one cheat meal on Friday. I do not count lettuce or spinach in my carb count I eat about 4 cups a day. I eat clean fats as well but do not count grams I do between 30-40 min of low intensity cardio four to five times a week. I lift 4 days a week. Right now I am at 220 at 17%body fat.
