Taking T4 with HGH - will this cause abnormal bloodwork?

My T3 levels are usually on the low end of the normal range. I'm wondering if 2.5iu GH with 100mcg T4 will skew the values to the point my endo will start asking questions. My bro-logic is that HGH slightly lowers T3, but T4 converts to T3 so the levels should remain normal.

I realize everyone is different, but wondering what the deal is with this.

Depends on the extent of the blood work they will do. They can test for the amount of free T4 in your system.

Yes she does test free T4. Last time on TRT and nothing else, it was 1.2 (range 0.9-1.8).

It will also effect your TSH. Everyone is different and the amount of conversion from T4 to T3 can depend on many different variables, but if you are in the low normal range, I don't think that 100mcg alone is going to take you out of the normal range.

TSH was 0.68 (range 0.26-4.20) so that was kind of on the low side. Would GH/t4 raise or lower this?

LOWER. Remember the negative feedback loop.

TRH -> TSH -> T3/T4

Ok so I should probably wait until after I get blood work to start this HGH/t4 combo then...although what would be bad about having those levels get really low? Forgive my ignorance on the topic of thyroid

If your levels drop below "normal" ranges, your endo will do more testing and asking questions. I'd wait till after your blood test. You start taking the T4 now, you'll crash your TSH.

On a side note. I never understood the want to take T4.

Thank you

Your TSH and T4 levels will be affected and your doctor will probably want do and ultra sound to see if you have nodules in your thyroid(even if you don't). It's a bunch of bs you do not want go through. My wife's t3/t4 levels were out of wack and she had an ultra sound done then biopsy. They found nodules and had to cut her thyroid out.

Ah man I had an ultrasound in my thyroid a year and a half ago because she saw nodules that turned to be benign, but it was still a little nerve wrecking. Had another one as a follow up and was good to go. Definitely glad I made this thread so I don't do anything silly.
